Jimmy Lee 李展翹 (b.1993) is an emerging visual art practitioner, researcher, and photographer. He received his formal art education in the UK, earning a PhD from the University of the Arts London and an MFA (with distinction) from the University for the Creative Arts, Farnham. His mentors included renowned figures such as Anna Fox, Karen Knorr, and Sunil Gupta. Under Fox's supervision, his PhD research delved into the visual representation of trauma and violence, exploring contemporary photographic debates on late photography and refamiliarization.

Lee's artistic practices have been exhibited globally, featuring solo exhibitions in the UK, the Netherlands, and Hong Kong. His work has also been included in numerous group exhibitions, notably at Galerie Meyer (France), Kiang Malingue (Hong Kong), and The Lightbox (UK). In addition to his artistic practice, Lee has a keen interest in curating. He recently curated an image-based exhibition at POINTSMAN (Hong Kong), challenging conventional perceptions of the end of civilization.

Lee's current research focuses on the rapid development of technology and its intersection with imagery. He investigates the ontological meaning of images and their resonance with artificial intelligence, a field also known as promptography. He is dedicated to education and teaches at various tertiary institutions in Hong Kong, imparting his knowledge to the younger generation.
